Victory redefined

Victory is not always measured by battles won,
At times, fighting when you know that loss is apparent,
But still show up at the battlefield;
That’s victory.

When you have nothing left, but everything to fight for,
When blood, sweat and tears are shed, yet nothing to show for it,
When your heart’s down, but you still believe in your spirit;
That’s victory

When you see the sun beyond the clouds,
You see victory.
When you can still afford a smile in the storm,
You face victory.
When you step right out of your fears,
You walk right into victory.

Victory is an attitude, not a moment after any battle is won.
It’s an eternal conviction, not a momentary feeling.
It’s the sight in your dark path.
The crystal ball for the future battle.

It’s all dependant on you.

The world may not be my home, but I still need to feel at home

Though we be a large family,
There’s still room for love.
Yeah, we may differ in opinion,
But that doesn’t mean we can’t get along with each other,
Coz we need each other to be complete.

Yet, we’re busy fighting each other.
Trying to wash our dirty linen in public,
Forgeting that the stain is a permanent part of the rag,
And we too, are different parts of that cloth:
Different colours, but same race.
The humanity race.

Fight for nothing, save that which belongs to your life.
Coz life is made up of all that belongs to it.
And we belong to each other
Coz we’re one.
We’re brothers,
We’re sisters.
We’re what keeps each other going, if only we found our place on earth.

Finding ourselves, is always a breakthrough.
Though some, try to create themselves,
I believe I was created, and that was final. I only find where i belong,
Pitch tent there, knowing that I was born to live for my call,
And I wont be headed for a collision course.

Life’s little nuggets

If a lion runs towards you, and you call it a cow, it doesn’t minimize it’s capabilities as a lion. So, capabilities aren’t defined by people’s words but by the actions caused by their characteristics. A lion is a lion, not only because it looks like one, but mainly, because it functions like one. It’s always good to know your capabilities, because through them, people have a concrete definition of who you really are. But if you decide to live in the way people want you to be, then it means you are not only weak, but unsettled. Always clinging on people’s opinions, and never living you life. The reason we all were created different is because we were created to function differently. Trying to be someone else, means that the world has a void of the person you were created to be. What if we were all doctor’s? we wont have any cars around. It’s always good to be who you are because, You will always live a full life, free of frustrations, You will always see the best of you and not, how others are better than you, And finally, You will give those who hate you for no reason, A reason to hate you.
